Costa Tropical, also known as Costa de Granada, occupies a privileged stretch of coastline in Southern Andalusia. The city of Almuñécar is located in the western tip of the province of Granada, an important tourist destination located between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park and the Peña Escrita Ecological Park are ideal for going hiking and enjoying other adventure sports such as climbing and canyoning. Also, the Sierra Nevada ski resort is located less than two hours away by car.
The Loro Sexi Ornithological Park, the Almuñécar Aquarium and the AquaTropic water park are magnificent options for a day of fun with the whole family. Almuñécar also has many restaurants, shops, pubs and nightlife spots.
