How to quickly reserve a room at Helios Hotels? At first, you should select a hotel where you wish to stay. You can select one of 4 Helios hotels depending on the location: Benidorm, Lloret de Mar, Mallorca or Almunecar. Welcome to the Hotel Helios Almuñecar at the beautiful Costa Tropical (the only place in Europe to cultivate all kinds of tropical fruits!), Granada's coast at the south border of Spain and Europe. Our hotel is perfectly situated on the very first beach line of Playa San Cristobal, Almuñecar, and could be your ideal place to get to know and enjoy this part of Andalucia, its unique climate, lifestyle, history... A 500 meters walk brings you into the historic centre, narrow and curving streets with shops, bars and restaurants, the impressive Arabic San Miguel castle, other important historic sites and a botanic garden. Excursions to famous places as Alhambra in Granada, the caves in Nerja, Alpujarras... or practicing golf, ski (!) (Sierra Nevada), all kind of water sports... the range of possible activities and visits seems to be infinite.
The hotel offers 227 nice and well equipped rooms with complete bathroom, individual airconditioning, Mediterranean decoration, sat-TV, telephone, optional safe and the majority with terrace and sea view. There are also 5 suites with double terrace, king size bed, hairdryer and fridge.
